ST4000LM024 PCB Short Points

June 11th, 2020, 15:03

Anyone shorted one of these out before to get terminal access.
The read/write channels are pretty obvious from the connector to the MCU.
But cannot work out where to short on the back of the board.
Any help would be appreciated.

There are two read channels (TDMR), so I wonder what would happen if you were to short only one differential pair.

I asked Ace Labs support about it and got the stock answer 'its all explained in the blog' which of course it isn't for this board.
