Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

This is a 4TB WD 2.5" drive that was in an enclosure - dropped onto a tile floor from about 12" inches. Now when the drive boots it makes noises and cannot be accessed. I am attaching a sound clip in the hopes that some of the experts can determine by this noise if it is repairable without a huge cost (DIY?)
Thank you in advance!

100% NOT “repairable” by DIY. Sorry.
There’s are tricky even for a lot of pros, so I’m afraid you have no chance.
I know it’s not what you wanted to hear, but sadly it’s the case

OK fair enough, thanks. I assume the next step will be to inquire with local recovery experts about an assessment etc.
