Hello every one,
I am looking for a compatible ROM close enough to get access to SA on WD 2.5" USB drive with below specifications:
MDL: WD10JMVW-11AJGS4
DCM: HBKT2BK
DATE: 13 JUL 2016
S/N: WXN1A563DUSA
Product of Malaysia
Your help is greatly appreciated since the original PCB was lost by customer!
Thank You

Search the HDDSurgery firmware database. Best place to get a very close match.

Thanks ddrecovery I've already tried HDDsurgery nothing close enough to work from there. I tried most of ROMs available Online plus 20 of my own but no luck so far and that's way I am wondering if anyone has something very close to this WD portable drive.

Is your rom corrupted?
Did you try to get access by uploading ldr file?
What's the micro code of your rom?

I don't have the original PCB and without proper ROM there is no surface access and SPT reading.

Without original 4f module in ROM it is very difficult to get access to SA, but possible and expensive. Getting many ROM versions wont help you much.

I did it before, usually same month products have very similar Micro program version.

4F is unique in FBLITE family , your issue is not rom but rom module

I can recover it even if 4F is missing, using whatever rom. ... in case you need it ...

Great, Thanks Pepe just let me know what do you need?

Which parameter in 4F is the problematic one?

For these discs the adaptations of the 4F module are important.
These are in the following positions:
1C0-1C3 HEADER
1C4-1C7 HEAD 00
1C8-1CB HEAD 01
1CC-1CF HEAD 02
1D0-1D3 HEAD 03
1D4-1D7 HEAD 00
1D8-1DB HEAD 01
1DC-1DF HEAD 02
1E0-1E3 HEAD 03
The most important of the 4-byte groups are the last 2.
In this way, if we erase the adapters of heads 1, 2 and 3, the hard disk starts, if we erase 0, 2 and 3, the hard disk starts but takes longer, read the second copy.
The 4F module can be zeroed and you only have to look at the positions:
1C4-1C7 HEAD 00
1C8-1CB HEAD 01
and in particular the last 2 bytes of each position.
I pass an example with 2 roms, one original and another modified, the 2 fully operational for head 0.

1C4-1C7 HEAD 00
1C8-1CB HEAD 01 -> NOT
1C4-1C7 HEAD 00
1D4-1D7 HEAD 00 -> YES

Thank you every one especially mhp666 for your detailed explanation but I think trying all the combinations for 1C4-1C7 & 1D4-1D7 for head0 takes quite some time Which out of the range of estimated time for this job.

It takes not more than an hour for me, shipping is the slowest part...
