Anyone seen this error on a Rosewood before?
It obviously has head issues as well.
But the LargeShock error?

Does it feel like it's vibrating than usual?

Spins up normally with no additional vibration, but the drive continually seeks.
Client said he dropped the drive but caught it before it hit the floor.
There are new heads in the drive.

Hi!
What's the model number?
Maybe the platters are misaligned.

The drive had significant media damage.
I guess it was so severe it was affecting the balance maybe.

Have you tried a different PCB? Perhaps the shock sensor(s) on the PCB have been damaged.

Or something bad with the shock sensor crystal

We did change heads and PCB, but still get the same result.

I don't know what kind of mistake it is, I'm trying to reach a mutual non-aggression agreement with these units.... I don't know if the error is directly related to this, but I bet that SA is degraded or simply doesn't exist anymore (at least a part of it).
