Seagate Grenada Is fw responsible for logical corruption

December 1st, 2020, 1:05

Hi Frineds I am working on a hard disk which is attached to a PLC automation device.
Its Seagate OEM HP fw disk (Detected as Grenada in PC3K)--
ST2000DM001-7ER164
FW -- HP 52

Disk has slightly delayed detection , I am unable to access SA by ATA and Terminal.
In DE I have been able to copy MFT's of one partition (100% MFT sector copied) but strangly data folders are empty .
Is there any co relation between FW not getting accesssed and improper logical data ? As per cust. There are 2-3 partitions but in DE GPT only 1 OS partition is accessible.
What should I do now to gain SA /Modules access.
Here are snaps of the disk.

Update to this case ----
I have patched ROM and terminal is unlocked. I tried to mount disk and run a data recovery software. Strangely now folders aren't empty.
So data is present but due to FW corruption I am not getting this data.
