WD MyBook 6TB can only create 2TB partition

Hello, im new here
i have a problem with my 6TB external hdd
it can only created 2TB partition
it doesn't have any bad sector

the 'New Simple Volume' is disabled

How can I fix this problem ?

Hi.

The drive is probably in MBR format. And so you can only partition maximum 2 TB. You have to change the drive to GPT format.
