Hi everyone;
my Seagate ST2000LM007 gone instantly today. spins up nicely, no head kicking sound etc. but it is not detected in bios or several usb boxes i tested. pcb looks clean, no damage, burn etc. also all fuses and 0 ohm resistors are ok.
Get an incorrect function error when trying to initialise it in windows
any advice?

drive's firmware is locked, you've got no chance to break in and perform anything, and even if you got in you would problably only cause more mess with inappropriate commands, etc. So i recommend asking a pro to recover it for you.
