I guess you already tried regen translator without backup of 28 or 35 since you have xx82 errors :?

Are both copies of 28 totally unreadable?

I don't know about MRT, but in PC3k there's an option to read by single sectors ignoring errors. So sometimes it's possible to patch together one good copy from the two.

I dont think MRT have this option, but I should ask their support .

If you cannot read sys28 with MRT then we cannot help magic it back.
You have a much better chance with PC3K as it can read by single sector and ignore the bad areas.

Re: ST1000LM035-1RK172 Zero capacity

March 3rd, 2021, 13:42

So if even by PC3K cant read sys 28 there is no chance to get Data ?

it can be solved even with MRT

How exactly?

Re: ST1000LM035-1RK172 Zero capacity

March 4th, 2021, 7:07

you have to read SA via ABA option in MRT with ignore read error option.
with this you will get 28 sysfile with bad sector, which can be patched and write back .

Re: ST1000LM035-1RK172 Zero capacity

March 6th, 2021, 13:29

You mean ABA mode automatically ignore error, or I have to change something in MRT? because I already Using ABA and gets error.

I have orig sys 35 , do you think if i use m0,6,3 maybe it can lead to read sys 28 ? and then restore orig sys 35?
