Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hi,
I have a Seagate Momentus 5400.6 ST9320325AS that suddenly disappeared and freezes the machine (it was connected to a Xbox 360 (SATA)). It is not detected in BIOS on pc.
There is nothing of value on the disk and I am a novice on this. However I don't like leaving things unsolved (and I managed to unbrick a 7200.11 earlier on), so I'm giving this a shot.
Here is what shows up in PuTTy when connected serially:
LED:000000CD FAddr:0024F657
Rst 0x08M
RW cmd 0002 req = 3D 49 00 00 08 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 49 1D 05 00 48 21 05 00 49 1D 05 00
opts = 00001121
RW Err = C3160080
RW cmd 0002 req = 3D 49 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 49 1D 05 00 48 21 05 00 49 1D 05 00
opts = 00001121
RW Err = 43110081
RW cmd 0002 req = 29 6A 02 00 08 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 49 1D 05 00 48 21 05 00 49 1D 05 00
opts = 00001121
Etc.
(Not possible to write commands)
And here is what I get when I isolate pcb and is able to communicate (U and Z commands seemed simple and harmless enough, thats why I tried them):
ASCII Diag mode
F3 T>/2
F3 2>Z
Spin Down Complete
Elapsed Time 0.131 msecs
F3 2>U
DiagError 00006008
Spin Error
Elapsed Time 12.227 secs
R/W Status 2 R/W Error 84150180
F3 2>
The disk spins up nicely and there are no squeks or clicks. The connector between pcb and the rest are cleaned.
How do I proceed? Is it software error and potentially fixable or is it truely a brick?
Thank you

It is most likely a logical error.

you need to reattach pcb before spinning it up.
continue only if you can afford loosing data. If not, contact Bosse:
