Tool to clone (copy) bad disk

I have a corrupt Mac formatted HFS+ disk (4 TB external WD) that shows up in Windows 10, but is inaccessible on my Mac.

It only shows up in disk management randomly (listed as Not initialized and Unallocated - see screenshot), so I expect the disk to completely fail at any time.

So: I would like to copy all the raw data, if possible, to another disk, so that I can run file recovery on a healthy hard drive.

Any suggestions?

It doesn't sound like just "corrupted" to me, I would fully expect it to have some underlying issues (i.e. Firmware damage and/or Media degradation.

If the data is important then take/send to a pro, but the data isn't important then download some decent DR software (I.e. R-Studio, GetDataBack, ReClaime, UFS recovery) and see if they "see" the drive and are able to start scanning it. Do this AT YOUR RISK and if it is unable to scan or comes up with read errors then STOP!!

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm using the term "corrupt" as a layman. There are obviously serious hardware issues with this drive. The disk contains some files that I would like to recover - but I'm not willing to spend a fortune using a professional data recovery service. They are not *that* important.

I'll try some of the tools suggested. I'll begin with GetDataBack, running from a Runtime Live CD. If I can recover the files - great - if not: I'll accept my loss and move on.

Try ddrescue. In my opinion it's the best free tool for cloning.
Then there is HDDSuperclone or DMDE.
