Hello forum
I have a Toshiba USB drive, PCB number G003250A
Looking for compatibilities, I found out that the PCB G003235C is compatible.
The problem is how do I know where is the BIOS chip I need to swap.
I have attached 2 pictures for ilustration purposes.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

IC602 is the one, as it is the only one on the SATA PCB.

Hello unknown
Would you elaborate a bit more?
Any hidden difficulty with Toshiba's ROM chips?
TIA

If you damage the ROM chip, most people will tell you it is impossible to reconstruct its contents.

Toshiba Rom chips easilly dying when desoldering. Must be careful

Is the opinion that the chips are more sensitive to heat or just that toshiba use what appears to be really high melting point solder ?
