I have two sata boards that are supposed to be unlocked. One is for a WD 4TB 2060-800022-002, and the other is for a WD 2TB 2060-800065-002. I forgot, but are you supposed to be able to read the rom on these boards if they are locked? Can you tell by the rom dumps if they are locked.

The 2TB dump looks bad, although the first portion is OK.

Hello fzabkar,
These were dumped with wdmarvel and just the boards alone, not connected to HDA. Would that make a difference?

I don't know. Do you get consistent results from several dumps?
