How do I transfer data from a hard disc to an SSD?

May 28th, 2021, 2:16

I presently have a laptop with a hard drive that I'm using roughly 500GB of, and with my new computer, which has a 240GB SSD and a 1TB hard drive, I'd like to put the majority of my games on the SSD. What would be the best way to go about doing this? Would I need to purchase an external hard drive or a solid state drive? Please assist.

much better to re-install the games.

If the SSD is C:\ and the 1TB d:\ you can choose to install to d:\games\

Remove unnecessary files from 500 GB drives till under 240 gb.
1)find a partition clone software . some software resizing automatically.
or 2 ) in windows disk manager decrease partition capacity under 240 gb
then clone drives 240 gb part. After finished, expand that partition to 240 gb
