To handle firmware of Seagate hard disks family you need :
PC3000 ISA version - Seagate U series - U4 / U8 / U10 / U6 / UXX
PC3000 PCI version - Seagate U series X / U Series 7 / U5 / Barracuda ATA I /Barracuda ATA II / Barracuda ATA III / Barracuda ATA IV / Barracuda ATA V / Barracuda 5400.1 / Barracuda ATA 7200.7. / Seagate 2.5 Momentus / Seagate 2.5 Momentus 42 / Seagate Momentus 4200.2 / Seagate Momentus 5400.2 /.
HRT 2.0
SEAGATE U4, U6, U8, V8, U10, UX.
I would like to tell you that I do not say or even wnat that you buy this products, this is only to informe you.
There another way to work with Seagate hard disks, using the Terminal conection but for do this you will need to build the interface - the conection between the hard disk and the Serial port. And you will need the list of the commands to work with Seagate.
People that knew about Terminal are the russians, and a few that speaks english.
My advice is ask here for help with this kind of conection.

thankful for the attention cenahum as always it is a lot of inportante I am providing the purchase of pc-3000 I don't know him/it how long that can arrive even to me but I think the better road for repairing hdd should be pc-3000 unassuming mhdd32 that is very very useful a software of such great usefulness and we don't have to pay anything for him...

Whose know wich tool can repair Seagate 7200.7 firmware!

Assuming that I have a hardware terminal that works great on Seagate Uxx series - how can I use it on Barracudas 7200.7 - I get all the commands rejected.
