2011 Mac Pro A1289 with x3 Drives RAID

September 7th, 2021, 14:56

Hey, fellas.

Have this Mac Pro in with 3 drives RAID array. It is the motherboard based Apple RAID.
Looks like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/363526541435?h ... Sw-K5hLVZl

Looks like RAID5 config, 128Kb blocks size.
Is it a left sync or async orientation normally on this one?
Or if you have full parameters, even better.

Thanks in advance.

Last I knew they only offered R0, R1 and JBOD on these. R5 wasn't an option.

Thank you all.
I got tired of playing and worked on booting up this old machine.
Looked in settings with the 2 good drives connected (3rd drive has disk surface damage) and there is no RAID5 listed. So, it must be a RAID0 configuration, which their IT person confirmed setting for the client.
Sad...
