Hi all

Long time without writing here...
I want to ask a question that I know the answer, but just in case...
A WDC WD40NDZW-11MR8S0 with damaged PCB (MCU has a small hole... (I don't know how)) until today it's not possible to recover right? It's possible to get S.A modules and do head map with "unlock" PCB but if the data is crypted by MCU not possible to recover... or yes?

Data is not crypted don't worry.
Go for unlock and extract your data.
Have a nice day!!

Shubh

800041 pcb right? If you already tried with unlock board and got no luck but crypted data. I can have a look remotely and help you on this case.

Hello and thanks for the repply.
Yes, as you say it's a 800041. I've used an unlock board and can access to SA and get a backup. But not access to data user. Through utility you can access sectors, but crypted. Also have tried with the SED option in 02 modules but same.
If you think you could have a hand in someway...
