Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hey guys,
I've came across a ST9500424AS that when connected to terminal displays LED:00000067 FAddr:00380338.
Spin up is normal, no strange noises. I've managed to find a donor and patient heads read well on donor platters. Donor heads produce the same LED:00000067 FAddr:00380338 issue.
Can the ROM be damaged?
If so, can someone point me to a possible work around?
I'll attach a copy of the rom if someone want's to take a look.
P.S: On F3 Explorer i get a CRC error on IAP but fzbakar told me it's normal.
All ideas are welcome.

Does it stay spinning or spin down, any clue from the registers. I'd be thinking heads still.

it cannot load ovl, that's why it fails with LED:00000067...

Is it time to try a loader?

not sure it is the perfect idea. It might not be the OVL that is bad, more probably something else is causing the fw to call something in the ovl before it is loaded. I have cure for such thing...

Could you inform the patient and donor PCB number
Compatible PCBs for this model are 100620560 REV.A 100619769 100610953
if you have these PCBs in good condition in your labs, you could see which terminal output to the PCB connecting the HDD and separate from the HDD if F3 T> stable without restarting and crashing
or
EarlySpinup Enabled
Rst 0x10M
ExecuteSpinRequest
