Having problems with Hard disk

March 15th, 2022, 6:11

I have attached a file.

Is there a way to repair the drive?

I have a lot of movies and tv shows on the hard drive, I would prefer to keep it and solve the problem too.

But if my formatting the drive, i can solve the problems, I can accept to lose everything.

Your drive is dying.
You should duplicate your drive using ddrescue and try to rescue your files from your physically healthy duplicate.
ALthough you currently have no pending sectors the number of already reallocated sectors suggests the replacement.

Faulty drives are only repaired when a recovery operation would require it.
Otherwise "repairs" can easily cost more than a multiple of your purchasing price which is stupid when you could buy a new drive alternatively.
