I allways like to learn something new, so at this time I would like to ask why you asked fro the 4 letters ? did you think that they are relevant for the LDR ? I really would liek to hear you opinion.

In some models such as 2B020XX,2F0XXX, the fw compatibility one to anothe is quite well. However, some models you must find the same one,otherwise, you can not load the ldr files.

I tought that the HDA, PCBA and UNIQUE is enough as they are shown after the model number by six digits.
By the way if one cannot get the perfect loader, there is a possibility to create it from the defective drive once started with a not-perfect loader.
In such case you start the drive with an other LDR, probably you can only read the SA, but that's enough to make a loader.

Cenahum is clever - he asks questions for which he has the answers.

And I guess he wants to help people but then he thinks why should he.

N40P is quite amicable to many LDR files and does not need *.RAM to get to SA,
so all this talk about alphabet letters and so on gets quite irritating.

Of course this is for N40P, Romulus is a little less friendly to just any LDR.
