Did you try unlocking the pcb?

PCB number is 100687658 REV C

I need ROM patch?

What's the PN (Part Number) on the label?

100687658 is for 1CH, not locked.

PN: 1E6166-570

I think you meant to say 1ER166-570.
I believe this drive requires ROM Unlock patch to get terminal access.

the PN is ok, but it is something rare, at least here, I never had one... Should be an old Grenada.
I should take a look at the fw to find out if it is locked, but have no time atm.

Interesting, have not seen that one before.
Either way, if in the terminal it says "Diagnostic Port Locked", then it is a locked ROM based model.

It shouldn't be locked.
The locked Grenadas have a 'triangular' PCB shape, this is the old classic one, to my knowledge they weren't locked.

By the way, if you leave it powered on, chances are it will eventually get to DRD DSC.
It sounds like typical Congen thing to me.

already I tried...
Is 30 minutes not enough? I waited 30 minutes but no response.

Did you try to patch ROM to pause boot after power on and then hit CTRL+Z immediately after you continue booting?

only tried CTRL+Z

T> is displayed on the terminal, but there is no response after (P)SATA reset.

Basically i would have said the same but since i haven't had time to look at the firmware, i hadn't say so coz i can't be sure. PCB shape itself does not imply anything about the firmware.
