HGST Is not supported in PC3000 also get detected 0mb

July 11th, 2022, 10:37

I have got HGST HTS541010A7E630 / Type TT5SAF100 / ( Z5K1000-1000) / FW 4A0 / MLC DA6439 / P/N- J42231 16 DEC 15

In PC3000 it is not detecting in Hitachi family , If I select 5410A9 it gets detected as 0MB.
Is there any additional steps I can take for further diagnostics ( whether its heads or FW issue)

Looks like a firmware issue to me. I would swap the PCB and ROM, just in case.

If these don't work, change the heads. Difficult say more based on this information.

Does the drive spin without clicking?
