Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hello
I have received the drive in topic opened before in another company (Abu Dhabi).
The customer said that the drive dropped and they tried to retrieve the data but they couldn't help him.
I replaced heads and get a straight full image from the customer's data.
The weird question here : has anyone saw FBlite with HM 0,1 only before ?
There's 2 platters and 4 heads inside.
I always see FBLite 500 GB with HM : 0,1,2 or 1,2,3 or even 0,1,3. But never see one with only 2 heads.

sure, i saw several with 2 heads only. But those ones had 1 platter and 2 heads physically, i must admit .

That make sense.

But I don't know why this one has 4 heads and 2 platters.

There's no sign on the label refer to re certified or refurb.
