hello
I am new here ... i am from romania.
I have a case in which drive read/write test work correctly for the first 1/3 and than it produces hard to read sectors and uncorrectable errors, that are more proeminent as you advance towards the end of the drive (fireball3 40g)
The strange thing is after eraseing p-list it reads ok the sectors that were stipulated as defective
Is there any way to restore the modules containing adaptive data like srv, rct, at-pdl, ulist? Getting them from identical hdd doesn't seem to work.
In general, if you get mhdd surface map is very colored, and every time in different places, any ideea what causes it?
Off topic Do you think that the information on russian forums is worth spending the time in actually learning russian ??
