Strange. A VPN should fix that. I have the most wonderful exchanges with ChatGPT.

I don't think it's bad to care about data privacy.

What privacy and whose privacy?
ChatGPT doesn't violate our privacy, if you search for something about yourself on chatgpt it will not return anything, except information taken from social networks such as facebook, youtube, pinterest, linkedin etc.
If you are not present on any social network or website, then it will not return any information about you. It will simply search for your name on the web as anyone could do on Google.
I don't understand what the violation of privacy is.
I think politicians are just scared of something they don't understand and that might be out of their control.

the problem is what they doing with the data they collect from you,IP, webbroser, login, name, email... It looks like they are not GPDR compliant. They had some time to reply before they block it. I don't think Italian governement only ask them to provide those information. Maybe they grow up quicly and they don't have legal departement to asnwer those question. Maybe Italian should have wait longer but blocking them will probably help them to get more transpartent.

Australia has plenty of stupid politicians, but this idiot wants to sue OpenAI over what its chatbot said about him:

It's a pretty strong statement, what if you were that idiot... He sent them a note in order to have it corrected which was ignored apparently.
the matter brings up legal questions which are not our competency i think. This type of AI brings up at least as much problems as it solves, so i can't see how the world is gonna be a happier place after it :s then where's the gain...
