DONOR with more haeds than Patient where botom head missing

April 28th, 2023, 6:40

I have 10 Head Donor drive 5TB Seagate barracuda ST5000LM000 which is having 10Heads. Patient drive is 4TB ST4000LM0024 which is having 9 Heads. Until now we have replaced with HSA having more heads than patient HSA but more heads were on the upper side which was all successful. This case is where the bottom head is missing. so my questions are, Will this donor work as clearly head0 here will be on head1 position? Do I have to make any changes in logical head map? or the HSA will work straight away with out any modification?

In my experience, this will work without any problem.
