Seagate ST12000NM001G

Hello, i have 2 hdd of this model with the same fail in ROM, is strange.
I can read ROM, but i have the message:

WARNING!
ROM image contains crytical damaged objects
[RAP]


And is in both hdds....

You are either only reading 1/2 the ROM or someone else did and wrote it back, losing the 2nd half.

It's actually neither.
This model has two ROM chips.
And the second chip has RAP in it.

Interesting. I haven't encountered this model yet. Who would have guessed?

This is a 14TB drive, but the title of your thread says 12TB.
