I bought a kesu external hdd on aliexpress, I think it's a used notebook hdd but smart says it's new, only a few times turned on and not used for hours, so I think someone modified the firmware and smart, there's some software to detect it these modifications and provide the real values? or some software to fully analyze the hdd and show if it is good or bad for archiving and if it has errors and badblocks?
