Western Digital Spyglass2 With Damaged Platter

I'm wondering if there's any solution for spyglass2 hard drive with scratched platter i believe that all new wd smr drives check all platter to initializing there's no way to swap bad platter with another one or cut head physically all old tricks doesn't work . Any hints?

i can fool them... So a partial recovery might be possible if other surfaces are intact. I guess there is severe surface contamination, perhaps the platters were removed in an unclean environment? Perhaps the damage is a result of the same ?

Thx in advance pepe. The photo in the post has been attached by mistake its for seagate sorry. and thats true this photo for a hard drive opened outside a clean environment. your are saying fool them ?! do you mean make change in SA and ROM?

This should be doable.
We recover drives with similar damage every day.

there is no working solution on pc3000 or mrt for this case only if it can be done by making modification to sa or rom?. and in this case this jop is more tricky

I don't use PC3K or MRT, I have my own tools.

+1. This thing requires some additional tooling and knowledge above the usual pc3k level.
