if you switch drive to safe mode, then power up and see BUSY you can choose from 2 choice:
a) drive incorrectly switched to safe mode
b) drive pcb damaged

a) Nope
b)Nope

i've noticed that sometimes it helps to write some modules 5-6 times.
to fabio: pc3000 can't reallocate defects of sa for maxtor. however, HRT claims to do that.

To sargentx:
"HRT is a tool that I hear that is for diagnostic, is also a very complex tool. If PC3000 is a tool that makes people crazy what HRT will do to people ?, maybe I'm out of HRT."
I think that this is what Fabio would like to tell.
