WD40NDZW-11BHVS1 no ID with SA access

Hey,
I got a WD40NDZW-11BHVS1 spyglass3.
I unlocked the rom chip with pc3k utility and soldered sata to the pcb, the drive comes up RDY and I have access to SA but i get “WDC-ROM SN# XYZ” ID and no sector access.
all the modules are fine except for 02, 38, 2E, 12E, 4002.
Module 02 is only corrupt at the start and I tried rewriting it to the drive from a donor but it seems like it’s on some bad sectors and I can’t write it. I don’t even know if that’s really the issue here though.
T2 seems to be fine, module190 is OK.

Find some unused sectors in the SA and redirect mod 02 to these sectors.

the question is wether the drive can write at all, test it on an unused space
