WD60EFAX - WD60EFAX - stopped while transferring files

August 15th, 2024, 12:09

Hi!
I was transferring data from my phone (photos and videos) to the WD60EFAX 6TB HDD and during data transfer - no response from the drive.

You can hear it go into a loop (it spins up the platters, you can hear the heads move twice and turn off the platters).

After restarting the computer, the system does not see it, but it is still in this loop.

In disk management it appears as "Unknown" and "not initialized".

The PCB has the number 2060-810011-001 rev. p1

Video link says it was deleted. If your nas drive is spinning up and down again thats a hardware issue and requires a professional to recover. You have doubled checked this symptoms in another known working computer?
