My Old WD Book Essential does not boot up anymore

September 11th, 2024, 18:50

Dear all,

I hope some one of you will be my star.

I have purchase a New WD Home book in order to copy data from my old one to the new one.
During copy operation, the old disk was not accessible anymore while power on was ok and light status as well.

Then I decide to reboot it by unpluging the power and then plug again.
Since that operation the disk does not boot anymore and the light status are as shown on attached pictures.

I have some important data on that old disk, I really need to get them out.

As the disk is booted fro, an emeded linux OS i guess, I have no idea how can I access my disk data if it does not boot anymore

Hope one of you can help me on this

Thanks for your help
