I disabled toshiba head 0 then power off\on there was a very slight noise but drive id with head 01 active and head 0 successfuly disabled and can read head 01 lba smoothly.
Then I cut this head 0 physicaly power off\on but now drive clicking hysterically, after a while drive id but no access to head 01 lba (could not load p list).
I took another hard disk of the same model and disable head 0 but now I only pushed the head 0 a little so it wouldn't touch the platter 0 surface power off\on and again drive clicking hysterically, after a while drive id but no access to head 01 lba.
Does anyone know an explanation for this?

Write back the original (ROM) If you did not backup the Rom you are out of luck.
