Which one is the ROM?

January 24th, 2025, 5:43

I have WD my Book 8TB WD80EDBZ and I think there is some part that short circuit. I want to try to change the pcb and the ROM. But I didn't really know if this hdd has ROM. Are those 2 little squares ROM?
Thank you

This PCB has 2 x fuses, 2 x TVS diodes and 2 x e-fuses. I think it is safer to repair the damage than to move ROMs. The last thread involving a similar PCB and ROM swaps resulted in a dead patient and dead donor.
