Help by head replacement

April 19th, 2025, 6:36

Hello everyone,

I have a WD10JPVT-22A1YT0, DCM HHCVJHN that makes a clicking sound.
Now I have the exact same donor disk and have made a good attempt to replace the head and the print of it.
When I put the disk on afterwards it still clicks and I get 0kb on the screen

I am still learning this and these are test disks but can someone tell me what I am missing or what I am doing wrong?
I have a set to protect the heads and I transfer everything very carefully.
The donor head was also not damaged after moving.

Do you still need the tools such as a DFL-PCIe afterwards to configure/calibrate it?

Put back donor heads to their place.
If they don't work, then your procedure is wrong.
