Why do you want to do this? :?
What kind of software do you have?

You can do that with PC3000.

Mind you, if you empty Plist, you will not be able to recover the data.
If you are trying to fix the hard drive and don't care about recovering the data, then you can do that. However, still, I don't understand why you want to clear the Plist.

Maybe because she ( or he, who knows ) need to read a little bit more about defects lists.

Clearing P-list can be useful in forensic analysis if you have moved entries from G-list to P-list.

I don't know what was Maya's purpose, but even if clearing P-list was not useful at the present, it doesn't mean you couldn't find it useful in the future for some purpose.

Still think that some manual's reading will help a lot.

Hello

I'm new here .. please excuse his question but can someone tell me how PC3000 works? I mean is it software or hardware or both? Dos or Windows version.. which is better?
I went to their website but i couldn't figure out if there is a software only PC3000 or that i need the hardware part as well?

Basically can i use software only to fix a drive?

Thank You

You cannot run PC3000 without a board because that board is for protection.
