Hello all!
Thank you for maintaining brilliant source of information on HDD! Really appreciate!
I have two comissioned ST4000NM0035 HDDs from some Cisco servers/switches.
They even have Cisco MPN: 1V4107-175(001). Both units running special CS02 cisco-specific firmware and they are NOISY. Cisco does not list any possible FW updates for this drives.
Is it somehow possible to flash them with generic TN05 or newer firmware?
SeaChest refuses to flash TN06/D06/Signed D06 returning "Failed to download firmware" even using forged .CFG file.
