Hello!
Need FW resources (or just ROM file)
For the drive in topic (SSHD Kahuna)
FW ver: DEMD
Thanks in advance

Is your ROM damaged? Perhaps it can be repaired.

NAND issue.
Drive not spin up, busy and no terminal output.
Thanks for trying to help

I replied before I saw your ROM dump.

I could probably make a DEMM ROM for you from a Dell firmware update, including your CAP, RAP, SAP, IAP adaptives. However, its structure is different to your own. I could also try a DEMN ROM from the same update. Its structure seems to match yours.
Perhaps MRT cannot patch your DEMN/DEMD ROM type? DEMM/DEM9 appears to have a different structure. Maybe that's the one that MRT can handle?
You can see the difference with F3RomExplorer.

That's it Mr. Franc
This ROM structure is different from other ROMs from the same family (DEM8, DEM9, LVD1..etc.
That's what I noticed, and that's why MRT can not patch this one.
I would be very appreciated if you help me to patch this one.
Thanks a lot for your kindly help.

I don't know how to patch the ROM, but I have attached ROM templates which I have constructed from Dell's DEMM update. The structure is different to yours.
The DEMN update in the same package has the same structure as your DEMD patient. I could probably build a DEMN ROM template using the LOD file, but it wouldn't help you.

Thanks a lot, sir.
I'm not at work now.
I will post results tomorrow.
Greetings.

All I want to do to make the drive start from the external ROM copy
Not from the one embedded in the NAND.

What if you were to import your adaptives into a patched DEM9 ROM, write this ROM to the PCB, and then start the drive from a DEM9 loader? Would this give you access to the terminal? If so, you could then initialise the NAND. You could also permanently unlock the terminal by editing sys file 0x1D2, if I understand correctly. I believe I know how to do this. In fact I'm wondering whether this procedure could work with an unpatched ROM.
I'm assuming that DEM9 and DEMD PCBs are compatible.

Already tried this yesterday and injected the adaptives to the patched DEM9 and it gives me access to terminal, but it gaves LED error when tried to send the intialization command or any other command.

Yes they are. (100731589 REV A)

With combined ROMs the drive spin up (without ata registers) and I could reach terminal with partial access.
The drive loaded translator as I can send commands to read defectlists, when sending command to intialize NAND gives (Unable to load diag cmd processor overlay).
Here's the combined ROM:
