ST4000LM024 repair - power cap values?

I would like to repair my HDD to use. There's no important data on it

Got over current warning in dmesg when using a USB to SATA adapter
Opened it up, smelled like magic smoke, a capacitor has de-soldered itself? and is currently making electrical connection to some other components.

1. What's the chance i can salvage it by soldering in a new cap?
2. The TVS diode next to it allows current both ways, should i replace it as well?
3. How do i find values for suitable replacements?

ST4000LM024
PN: 2AN17V-566

Thanks in advance

Zero. It's a ferrite bead (inductor), not a capacitor. You could replace it with a 2A smt fuse.

Yes. You could leave it out, and the drive will work without it, but you will no longer be protected from overvoltages.
