Seagate slim - spindle locked.

I tried last year to make a tool to remove the pressed ring, but somehow
did not complete the job.

Now I getting quite a few of these drives.

Did anyone succeed in making such a tool ?

I did see some method of drilling and inserting some
packing with new ball - DP I think - did this work ??

I consulted the list of 200 methods (Jose Pinto) to revive the drive but found nothing suitable for this problem -
blowtorch maybe

What do you think Jose :)

Hehehehehe, I think that you do not understand my propose when I put the adress of that list.
I do not use any of that things, I do not believe in things that you do not have statistic. That list seams to me like the alquimists that believed at the 17º century that they could fins the stone to change iron into gold.
Anyway you have a problem with teh seagate slim, could you describe it ?
What did you mean when you say spinlde locked ?, you wnat to say that the motor is locked ? if is this maybe I can help you.

Hello Jose,

I understood your post and I understand you don't use the alchemist methods.

Have you already removed a motor from Seagate slim ??
