Does anyone know problems in samsung, this model when starts still knock and knock , and no stop, "knock knocking and heaven door

like guns´n roses melody

...i not able to use pc3000 and data extractor no work , does any one know , what maybe happend??

Hi,
It seems like the head is gone. Try to get a drive of the same model and put the platter in that one.

Sorry, I thought it is a one headed slim drive (an SP0411), that's why I wrote to change the platter.
In multi-head drives I would change the MHA.

Hi Alberto,
Still moving the office.
Your hard disk has 90% of chances to had a bad heads. To change the heads you will need same model but you also will need to see if the parts are same , you have all texts from samsung, remember ? in thouse text you will be able to find one that is about heads disable,, and in this text you will read what you need to see to know if the disks have the same heads.
