Is there a way to change heads without a clean room?

June 13th, 2005, 1:07

I know there was a thread that touched on this subject, but I'm fascinated by the possibility of avoiding a clean room. I've heard that you can use a vaccum cleaner or some kind of air sucking device.

If you feel ok about it, could you leave your tips on this thread?
Thank you in advance! :)

it seems that if you do not need to use the hard drive for a longer period, just for the short period necessary to get data, you don't need a clean room. just try to find the cleanest environment possible in your location or establish one.

how you change heads - that's the true problem.

Yes,what the Sir. above said is ture!

In fact we do not need a clean room for a data recovery. We can do it very well in a bathroom, after showering a minute and get dry again.

I am a Chinese, and maybe you feel some difficult in understanding me,sorry.

Will anyone of you help to improve my English? Thanks a lot!
