Fujitsu again - MPG3204AH

July 5th, 2005, 14:54

Fujitsu again.

Hot swap generally is not a solution for MPG, but...

Here is an MPG3204AH which knocks.

Hot swap with perfect match allows SA to be read ...
After Svap reads all modules except 3Dh, and....

04h -->> 48 53 02 42 00 41 FF FF FF ......

Throughout all other modules (except 01h-DM) where it should be :

00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

modules are read as :

00 40 00 40 00 40 00 40 (odd byte is wrong)

Then,

where it should be :

FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF

all is read correctly as :

FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF

0000 0000 0100 0001 ( 00 41 )
