hey, why is any hdd (i`ve tried WesternDigital 40GB, SeagateU6 40GB, Seagate 120GB, seagate 80GB) that connected to my PC if do a hard work like Defrag, FlightSimulator loading etc, will stop spinning (there a click sound) and start spinnging again after 1 sec (there a click sound) is this dangerous to my HDD?? and how to resolve this problem??
my PC +12V is 1.606 and -12V 12.202 is it normal??

i have the same problem with several hard drives brought in for repair, especially wd eb and bb.
there must be a problem on the 12V line, but i cannot identify it as clicks happen without clear pattern.
anyone?
