I have a Samsung SP1604N HDD on which the max address has been written as 33GB. The disk has a capacity of 160.04 GB and I need to reset the max address to get the use of the full disk space. I have tried Samsung HDUTIL but it won't let me set the address above 33GB. The disk identity is given correctly. All drive tests are OK, but something is preventing me from resetting the disk to its correct capacity.
All constructive suggestions gratefull received.

I have tried all the usual stuff, like jumpers etc. Have used HDAT2, but I need real technical advice on how to unlock and rewrite the native address. Disk returns clear tests for every function, except capacity. Windows 2K is the OS
