How to remove ATA password from Harddrive using mHDD

August 18th, 2005, 10:59

Hi guys, I have a problem with removing ATA password from my hdd.
my harddisk is Quantum 10.2GB. I try to using unlock (from mHDD), but fail. it said to input the password (master or user). but I already try every serial number on harddisk, but none is works.

Can anyone help me to remove the ATA password.
thanks :)

Hi,

the serial number is not a password by itself. It can be if you set it previously, BTW.
