My HDD just stop working suddenly, not detect in BIOS any more but the drive spins okay. Do I have to access to the ROM or offset a hex byte? How do I learn more of HDD PCB and code?

Have you downloaded FFDR from this website (http://mhddsoftware.com)? This will tell you whether or not the disk can be fixed with firmware. Alternatively, have you visited a-ff.com? They will recover this remotely.

When I run the software, press F2 to detect the HDD, at the top of the screen, WRFT and BUSY is on all the time. Drive is not ready or time out running the command, does it mean HDD totally dead?
