Which are the usual HD's Temperatures?

March 1st, 2006, 12:21

Lately I'm having problems with my HDs and even with the DVDRW, I've noticed that HD temperatures are higher (i dont remember which was before).

Code:
HD Tune: Maxtor 6Y160P0 Health
(C2) Temperature                45º
HD Tune: WDC WD2000BB-00GUA0 Health
(C2) Temperature                40º

These are the actual temperatures only running Windows and Opera , is this normal?
Could be a problem with the IDE Bus?
Tried my DVDRW and HDs on another PC, DVDRW works ok and HDs seems not so warm.

thx

for some i know
