Canon ImageRunner

Hello,

This is my first post here.

I need little help from experts here.
Does anybody know what is exact disk/partition layout of disks in Canon ImageRunner Copy Machines?

My disk died and I need to buy replacement.
"Original" disk from Canon service costs me 3 times more than regular disk.

As far I know these disks contain 2 partitions: one FAT16 and one "special" Canon custom type.

If I put regular HDD inside ImageRunner it won't work, but after Canon Service "prepares" same disk, it is working well. But it costs me a fortune!

These are usual HDDs of 10 and 20 GB which can be bought in any computer store.

So, anyone has an idea?

Thank you very much.
