Fujitsu MPG3204AT

Hi there, im runnig mhdd on a fujitsu MPG3204AT, drive is detected by bios, i start a scan and start ok, but after a little while ( less than a minute into the scan ), i get a only !!!!!!!! ( ABRT ), any ideas? can this be fixed by the Fujitsu recovery tool? or is it something else?
